Effective date: 14 July 2026
Fluck is a place to plan things with the people you trust and keep shared spending simple and fair. These Community Guidelines & Acceptable Use rules ("Guidelines") explain what is and isn't allowed when you use the Fluck consumer app (the "App").
These Guidelines form part of our Terms of Service and are provided by Fluck AI LTD (Company No. 15723506), Innovation Centre, Knowledge Gateway, Boundary Road, Colchester, Essex, CO4 3ZQ, United Kingdom. If you break these Guidelines, we may take action on your account (see section 10). Terms defined in the Terms of Service have the same meaning here.
1. The basics
Fluck works because people treat each other fairly, in chat, in plans, and in money matters. By using the App you agree to:
- treat other people with respect;
- be honest, especially about shared money and rewards;
- keep things lawful; and
- report problems instead of taking matters into your own hands.
These Guidelines apply to everything you do in the App: messages, plans, bill entries, uploaded documents, profile details, and how you interact with other users and with our partner brands.
2. Respect other people
- Be considerate in group chats and shared plans.
- Disagreements about plans or money happen. Keep them civil and resolve them like adults.
- Remember there are real people behind every account.
3. No harassment, hate or threats
You must not:
- harass, bully, intimidate or stalk anyone;
- send threats of violence or wish harm on anyone;
- post or send hateful content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any other protected characteristic;
- encourage others to do any of the above; or
- repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop, or who has blocked you.
4. Keep it legal — no illegal, fraudulent or harmful use
You must not use the App to:
- do anything unlawful, or to plan, promote or carry out illegal activity;
- commit or facilitate fraud, deception or theft, including inventing or manipulating shared costs to trick someone into paying you;
- launder money or move the proceeds of crime;
- buy, sell or arrange anything illegal (for example drugs, weapons or stolen goods);
- share content that sexually exploits or endangers children. This is never tolerated and will be reported to the authorities;
- promote self-harm, suicide or serious harm to others; or
- do anything that puts another person's safety at risk.
5. No spam or scams
You must not:
- send unsolicited bulk or repetitive messages, advertising or promotions;
- run or promote scams, phishing, pyramid or "get rich quick" schemes;
- send links to malware or to fraudulent sites;
- use the App to harvest other users' contact details or data; or
- misuse invitations, plans or chat to reach people who don't want to hear from you.
6. Honest use of bill-splitting
Bill-splitting only works if everyone is straight with each other. You must not:
- enter false, inflated or duplicate costs, or misrepresent what was spent or who owes what;
- add people to a bill for costs they had nothing to do with, without a genuine basis;
- manipulate balances or reminders to pressure, harass or mislead someone; or
- use the reminder feature to spam or intimidate another person.
Remember: Fluck only records and reminds. It does not hold or move money, and the figures in the App are not proof that a debt is legally owed. Settling up honestly is down to you and the people you share with.
7. Honest use of rewards — no gaming or abuse
Rewards are meant to be earned fairly. You must not:
- create fake accounts, transactions or activity to earn points, stamps or cashback;
- exploit bugs, glitches or pricing errors to gain rewards you're not entitled to;
- transfer, sell or trade rewards except where we expressly allow it;
- collude with others or with partner staff to generate rewards dishonestly; or
- otherwise abuse or manipulate the rewards system or partner offers.
Rewards obtained through any of the above may be forfeited or reversed, and your account may be actioned. Full details are in the Rewards Programme Terms.
8. No impersonation, and prohibited content
8.1 No impersonation
You must not pretend to be someone else, another person, a business, a partner brand, or Fluck staff, or misrepresent your identity or your connection with anyone.
8.2 Prohibited content
Do not post, send, upload or store content that:
- is illegal, or infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
- is sexually explicit, obscene, or child sexual abuse material;
- is hateful, threatening, harassing or defamatory;
- contains someone else's personal or confidential information without their consent (no "doxxing");
- contains malware or malicious code; or
- you do not have the right to share.
9. Reporting and blocking
- Report content, messages or behaviour that breaks these Guidelines using the in-app reporting tools, or by emailing hello@fluckai.com.
- Block anyone you no longer wish to interact with. Blocking limits their ability to contact you in the App.
- If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services (call 999 in the UK). Reporting to us is not a substitute for contacting the police.
We review reports and act on them proportionately. We may need some information from you to investigate.
10. Enforcement
10.1 What we may do
If you break these Guidelines, the Terms of Service, or the law, we may take one or more of the following steps, depending on how serious the breach is:
- issue a warning;
- remove or hide content;
- limit features (for example bill-splitting, chat or rewards);
- suspend your account temporarily;
- permanently ban you and close your account; and/or
- forfeit or reverse rewards obtained through abuse.
10.2 How we decide
We aim to act fairly and proportionately, taking into account the seriousness of the breach, whether it is repeated, and the risk to other people. For serious matters, such as fraud, threats, or child-safety issues, we may act immediately and without prior warning, and may report the matter to the police or other authorities.
10.3 Telling you and putting things right
Where it is appropriate and lawful, we will tell you what action we've taken and why, and for less serious breaches we may give you a chance to put things right. If you think we've got it wrong, you can contact hello@fluckai.com to ask us to review the decision.
11. No security breaches, scraping or interference
You must not:
- access, or try to access, accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to use;
- probe, scan or test the security of the App, or bypass any security or authentication;
- introduce viruses, malware or any harmful code;
- scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-collect content or data from the App, whether manually or using automated tools, except as expressly permitted;
- use bots or automated means to access or interact with the App without our permission;
- overload, disrupt or interfere with the App or the servers or networks behind it; or
- reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the App except where the law allows.
12. Changes to these Guidelines
We may update these Guidelines from time to time to keep the community safe and to reflect changes in the App or the law. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the App after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Guidelines.
