This Cookie Policy explains how Fluck AI LTD (company number 15723506), registered at Innovation Centre, Knowledge Gateway, Boundary Road, Colchester, Essex, CO4 3ZQ, United Kingdom ("Fluck", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies across:
- the Fluck marketing website,
- the Fluck for Business portal, and
- our mobile applications and app software development kits (SDKs).

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let a site recognise your device, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used.
We also use technologies that work in a similar way, including:
- local storage and session storage in your browser, which store data on your device,
- pixels and tags (small pieces of code) that record whether content was viewed or an action was taken,
- software development kit (SDK) identifiers and mobile device identifiers used within our apps to keep you signed in, remember settings and measure app performance, and
- server-side logs that record technical information such as your IP address.
In this policy we refer to all of these together as "cookies".
2. Our legal basis for using cookies (PECR and UK GDPR)
We use cookies in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR (and equivalent EU rules).
- Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent because they are essential to provide a service you have requested.
- All other cookies (functional, analytics and marketing) are only set with your consent, which we collect through our cookie banner. Where consent is our basis, you can withdraw it at any time (see Section 6).
We do not treat continued browsing alone as consent for non-essential cookies.

4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties that provide services to us, such as analytics providers, error-monitoring tools and embedded content (for example videos or maps). These third parties may process data under their own privacy policies.
Social and Meta pixels. We only load social media or Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) pixels or advertising tags if you have given consent for marketing cookies. If you do not consent, these are not loaded. Note that any use of Meta's business messaging platforms inside the Business Portal is a separate feature governed by our Privacy Policy and Integrations Notice, and does not rely on advertising cookies.
5. Cookies in our mobile apps and SDKs
Our mobile apps do not use browser cookies in the traditional sense, but they use local storage and SDK/device identifiers for equivalent purposes: keeping you signed in, remembering settings, securing the app, and measuring performance and crashes. Non-essential identifiers (for example analytics or marketing) are used only where you have granted the relevant permission or consent, which you can manage in your device settings and, where offered, in the app's privacy settings.
6. How to manage or withdraw your consent
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Our cookie banner and preference centre. When you first visit, you can accept or reject non-essential cookies by category. You can change your choice at any time by reopening the preference centre (for example via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer).
- Your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the website or portal from working.
- Your device settings. On mobile you can reset or limit advertising identifiers and manage app permissions through your operating system.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. There is no common industry standard for DNT, and our current handling is set out here. Where we are legally required to treat a GPC signal as an opt-out of sale or sharing, we do so; as noted in our Privacy Policy, we do not sell or share personal data as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
8. How long cookies last
Cookies are either:
- session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or
- persistent cookies, which remain for a set period or until you delete them.
Retention periods vary by cookie and are shown in our preference centre. We keep records of your consent choices for as long as required to demonstrate compliance, and typically no longer than needed for that purpose.
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in technology, the cookies we use, or the law. We will update the effective date above and, for material changes, we will notify you through the cookie banner or the Service. Please check this page periodically.
