You can delete your Fluck account at any time. Deleting your account removes your personal data, business profile, every connected channel (Facebook Pages, Instagram Business Accounts, WhatsApp Business numbers, custom channels), all message history, customer records, tickets, notes, and audit logs from our active systems.
This page describes the full-account deletion path. If you only want to remove a single Meta-connected channel without deleting your entire Fluck account, follow our Data Deletion Instructions instead.
How to delete your account
You can choose any of the three paths below. They all lead to the same outcome.
From the Fluck mobile app
- Open the Fluck mobile app
- Tap the profile menu (top-right) and open Profile
- Scroll to Delete account
- Confirm by entering your password
From the Fluck Business Portal (web)
- Sign in at https://portal.fluckai.com
- Open Account → Settings → Privacy & Data
- Click Delete account
- Confirm by typing your account email address
By email
If you cannot access the app or the portal, email privacy@fluckai.com from the email address registered on your Fluck account. Use the subject line "Account deletion request". We will verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days.
What happens next

| Immediately | Your account is soft-deleted — invisible to other users, every connected channel is disconnected, every access token is revoked, all inbound message routing is stopped |
| Within 24 hours | All channel records (Facebook Pages, Instagram, WhatsApp Business numbers, custom channels) are removed from active systems |
| 30 days after request | Your account, profile, messages, customer records, tickets, and notes are permanently erased from active systems |
| Up to 35 days after request | Encrypted backups containing your data are rotated out |
You can reactivate during the 30-day grace period by logging back in with the same credentials and confirming reactivation. After 30 days the deletion is irreversible.
What is deleted
- Your profile — name, email, phone, photo
- Business profile — company name, address, hours, descriptions, social links
- All connected channels (Facebook Pages, Instagram Business Accounts, WhatsApp Business numbers, custom channels) and their encrypted access tokens
- All inbound and outbound message content from connected channels and direct chats
- Customer records, leads, tickets, tasks, tags, and notes you created
- Activity logs and audit history
What may be retained (and why)
- Financial records — up to 7 years where required by UK tax law (HMRC). Anonymised where possible.
- Crash and diagnostic logs — 90 days, with personal identifiers stripped.
- Encrypted backups — rotated out within 35 days of deletion.
We do not retain message content from Meta-connected channels (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) beyond the 30-day post-deletion grace period.
